Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of groucommunity.com (the “Site”), operated by GROU COMMUNITY COMPANY (“GROU,” “we,” “us”), a Florida company located at 2101 Brickell Ave Apt 2312, Miami, FL 33129, USA, EIN 84-4579837. By using the Site you agree to these Terms; if you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

The Site provides information about our café, menu, catering, events, loyalty program and community. You agree to use it only for lawful purposes and not to interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or scrape it at disruptive volumes.

Online pickup/delivery and catering orders are processed by GetSauce; shop purchases by our online store; the loyalty program and mobile app are powered by Como; event registrations may be processed through our shop. Those services have their own terms and payment processing. Your purchases there are contracts with or processed by those platforms, and we are not responsible for their availability or errors on their side.

Menu items, prices and availability shown on the Site are informational and may change without notice; the price at the point of sale controls.

Loyalty rewards (including welcome drinks, points, happy hours and birthday gifts) are offered subject to the program rules in the GROU app, may require an active account, have no cash value, and may be modified or discontinued at any time. Event giveaways and promotions may have additional rules announced with each promotion.

GROU is not an official sponsor of Inter Miami CF; ticket promotions are made available through a season ticket membership.

If you tick the SMS consent box on a GROU form (such as the GROU Loyalty signup or a popup offer), GROU Coffee will send recurring automated marketing texts with offers, events and news to the mobile number you provided. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply; check your mobile plan for details. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Reply HELP for help, or contact us at contact@groucommunity.com or +1 (305) 639-8218. Reply STOP to cancel at any time; you can also opt out by writing to us. After you opt out we stop sending marketing texts to that number, and you can opt back in by ticking the box again.

You confirm that you are the account holder or an authorized user of the mobile number you provide, and that you will tell us if it changes. How we handle your number and your consent is described in our Privacy Policy, and we do not share SMS opt-in data or consent with third parties for their marketing.

Event details (dates, times, capacity, pricing) may change. Paid workshops may have limited spots and their own cancellation terms shown at registration. We may refuse entry or participation where reasonably necessary for safety or conduct reasons.

The Site and its content, logos, brand, photography, video, text and design, are owned by or licensed to GROU and protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not reproduce or use them commercially without our prior written consent.

If you send us content (for example, forms, job applications or feedback), you grant us a non-exclusive license to use it to operate our business, and you confirm it is accurate and yours to share.

The Site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, GROU will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim related to the Site will not exceed one hundred US dollars (USD $100).

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

You agree to indemnify and hold GROU harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida.

We may update these Terms from time to time; the “Last updated” date reflects the current version. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept them.
