BNI Networking Meeting
A BNI chapter held its weekly business networking meeting at GROU Coffee + Cowork in Coral Gables, with member presentations over specialty coffee and breakfast.
BNI is a referral network where local business owners meet regularly to pass qualified leads to each other. One of the Miami chapters ran its meeting at GROU, taking over the cowork side of the space for presentations and structured introductions.
The format is straightforward: members sit together, each one takes the floor for a short pitch about their business and the kind of referral they are looking for, and the group trades contacts afterwards. GROU handled the coffee and breakfast so the chapter could focus on the agenda.
Recurring business groups work well here because the room is quiet in the morning, there is space to present standing up, and everyone can order from the counter without leaving the meeting.
